Our position

MysteryPartyNow respects intellectual property rights. We operate under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) safe-harbor provisions. Creators who submit scripts warrant that their work is original; we remove content on receipt of a valid takedown notice.

Filing a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our designated agent including all of:

  1. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed (title, registration number if applicable, or a link to the original).
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material on MysteryPartyNow — the script title, the URL, or enough detail to locate it.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice

If you believe material you posted was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same agent. Include:

  1. Your contact information and signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its original location.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court where you reside (or, if outside the US, the Northern District of Illinois), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.

Repeat-infringer policy

We terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright. Earnings from sessions run before termination remain payable according to the Creator Agreement.
